To begin the series of article we will show you two of the most popular classic drinks and favorites bar recipe ever.


B52 Recipe

Glass: 2 oz shot glass
Method: layer

Ingredients
12.5ml Coffee liqueur(Tia Maria) Alternative coffee and chocolate (Kahlua) is acceptable too.
12.5ml Baileys Irish Cream
12.5ml Orange Liqueur (Cointreau-Drambuie-Triple Sec)

Pouring Instruction
Pour by layer each liqueur/spirit in the order listed above.
Alternative: Finish by setting fire to the Orange liqueur directly in the shot glass or set on fire in a cognac balloon and then poured slowly into the drink. You can use the reverseof your barware spoon to poured it gently.

Other Information

Glass: 10 oz rocks

Ingredients
Ice cubes
25ml vodka
25ml coffee liqueur
Alternative Top with Cola or with milk for White Russian

Pouring Instruction
Build and stir
Add the vodka and coffee liqueur to an ice-filled rocks glass.

Garnish
A cocktail cherry.

Other Information
Some bartender prefer 2 to 1 ratio between the vodka and coffee liqueur while some other prefered serving in equal quantities. Most bartenders will serve this drink in a rocks glass over ice but it can also be served in a martini glass. The original recipe was comprised of just the two spirits but as tastes have changed we saw the addition of coca cola on the other hand the guest should decide himself to add it or not.

Popular variants is the White Russian, substituting the coke for milk or light cream.
Also White or Black Russian with just a dash of amaretto can become a Toasted White or Toasted Black Russian.

Note: All liqueur brands are different in their density and weight. You must always pour the heaviest liqueur first and proceed with the next heaviest, ending with the lightest.
